Windows Dos Network Commands
Know IP Command Below are the commands associated with the network. To perform these commands you must enter the MS DOS Prompt.

ipconfig / all
Displays the connection configuration information, such as Host Name, Primary DNS Type, Ethernet LAN Adapter.

ipconfig / displaydns
Displays the DNS Cache.

ipconfig / flushdns
Remove the DNS Cache

ipconfig / release
"Removing" all IP Address connections.

ipconfig / renew

To refresh the DNS and re-register the DNS connection.

ipconfig / showclassid
Displays the DHCP class information.

ipconfig / setclassid
Change the DHCP Class ID

Displays the Network Connection.

ping
