doskey function is to save the commands once you type in dos prompt. so to use which ever you type commands simply use the arrow keys to over
1. Right click on the MS-DOS Prompt icon
2. Properties.
3. looking to the Programs tab.
4. In the Batch File, add doskey.
5. Apply then OK.
